Credentials
Late in the 1980s Stephen & Helen began to sense God drawing their attention ever increasingly to the needs of other nations. After 15 years of pastoring and planting churches and itinerating in Australia, Stephen & Helen began traveling overseas and leading those around them into a 'nations' focus.
Stephen is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God in Australia. Stephen and Helen work in the nations with a variety of indigenous Fellowships.
1976
Both were studying at Bible College in the Blue Mountains, New South Wales (Australia). They married in January 1977.
1977
Led youth ministries in local churches and outreach in rural Victoria and New South Wales, and became involved in church planting. For a season they itinerated as a fulltime music and evangelism ministry, working with local churches.
1983
Planted and led a thriving church in country New South Wales - a significant period of growth in their ministry lives. In the late ’80’s they began leading the church into overseas mission involvement.
1991
Commenced ‘Liberty for the Nations’ as a vehicle to facilitate ministries to the nations. Within a few months, the “Vision in Action” was reaching people and communities in Vanuatu, the Philippines and East Europe. Since then it has reached other countries and supported ministries as diverse and far from each other as Belarus and Bougainville, Estonia and El Salvador, Thailand and Turkey, Israel and India!
1995
Commenced 'Church for the Nations', a missions church impacting many nations with prayer, finance, work and ministry teams.
1996
Became Directors of 'Children in Crisis', an Australian Charity enabling them to effectively facilitate the funding of several other overseas ministries.
2002
Stepped out into full time missionary work based in both Australia and Vanuatu, and ministering regularly in other countries. With wide open doors to preach and teach in many nations, Vanuatu was the key focus of their ministry. Stephen and Helen worked alongside the indigenous churches in outreach, community development and church leadership training.
2005
Commenced 'Community Christian Schools Vanuatu' in response to the school education needs in Vanuatu.
2008
Re-established their base in Australia in order to minister more extensively in countries God is calling them to. While home in Australia, Stephen continues to preach in a variety of local churches while Helen oversees the office, coordinating the programs and financial aspects of the ministry.
